AI fundamentals and in practice

The focus on developing AI literacy is to provide the skills everyone will need in the modern workforce. Develop the knowledge to understand where it can be most responsibly and effectively applied and where caution, that your depth of experience will inform, is still required. Embracing AI demonstrates the growth mindset that we are championing at Steady Hand Recruitment.

This section provides a structured path to develop AI literacy using only free or open-source resources. It is organized into two tiers: Fundamentals, In Practice application. A third, Advanced, tier may be relevant for your Job Type.

Courses are provided by leaders in industry and education:

Core skills renewal and enhancement

You’ve been doing this for a long time, we are not questioning your core competency. But you may need to refresh and top up the skills specific to your job type. Work with your Chapter Peers to identify those skills and competencies that employers consider a compelling proposition for job applicants. This will focus on:

• Renewal of industry certifications

• Identification of those competencies that may have become more desirable/ essential in recent times

In person meet ups will be scheduled to support informal, in-person discussion for broader community and individual chapters.
